Battle The Gut With Yoga: Core Cross Train

Two of the most popular yoga instructors in the business are Shiva Rea and Rodney Yee. Both have excellent DVDs for sale that can help you learn yoga or advance your skills. Rodney Yee has come out with a yoga workout routine that is specifically designed for one use; to bust that gut. His DVD "Yoga: Core Cross Train" is a very intense workout. The workout focuses on your core muscles and getting that waistline slender and toned. It is very beneficial to anyone looking to get in shape by summertime.

A definite plus of Yoga: Core Cross Train is that is features two 30-minute workouts. The workouts are definitely designed to target your core area. If you are not familiar with what is considered your core area, then it is your abdominal section. It is the section that packs on the pounds the fastest and is generally considered a high risk area. The moves and positions are definitely trying and even experienced yoga practitioners will find themselves challenged. So what does that mean for those just beginning yoga?

If you are a beginner to core training and to yoga, then you do not have to worry too much. Most of the poses are easy to get into, yet if you cannot hold them for as long as Yee does, do not worry. It takes time to gain abdominal strength and flexibility. No one is asking that you be able to perform the entire DVD workout sets without having to stop and catch your breath.

Rodney Yee is really very good at what he does. He manages to convey a very soothing tone as you progress through the workouts. His video has a very relaxing background and soothing music. You will find that many of the exercises he clearly illustrates and performs. This allows you to get comfortable in one of the positions before moving on with others.

A 30-minute session can be extremely daunting to those who are not in great physical shape or lack stamina. Do not let this stop you from trying. Even if you are only able to do 10 minutes of exercises it is still helping you. Some people find that if they do 10 minutes each day, then it gradually builds up until they can go longer and perform the more intricate poses.

Take a look at your calendar and then count up the days until it is swimsuit season again. That may be incentive enough for you to give Yoga: Core Cross Train a try. With it targeting the midsection you will definitely feel the burn. Give it a week or two and you will even start to notice that the bulge is starting to tighten up. Your clothes will fit better and you will find yourself with a lot of extra energy.
